Landlord FAQs

  • How quickly can you let my property out?

    Your property will be listed immediately and we always aim to have tenants in place in as little as four weeks.

  • When can I expect to receive rental income?

    Once the references have been completed and we have a signed lease or tenancy agreement, you will receive your rental income by BACS payment into your nominated account. The initial payment will be made 7 days after the tenants take up residence.

  • P2 guarantees my rental income. Is this an insurance backed scheme?

    No, it isn't insurance backed and our approach is straightforward – under a commercial lease arrangement, P2 will guarantee and pay your monthly rental income.

  • What do I do next to find out if my property is suitable?

    Contact us and let our team guide you. Let's agree a time to meet and we'll help you maximise your return. Don't forget we have a maintenance team as well so don't worry if it needs a little work.

  • If I see a property I'm interested in, can you help me assess its suitability?

    Yes, we can advise you about potential returns and how to present the property to maximise its potential.

  • If a property needs work, can you organise the restoration?

    P2 is connected to contractors with years of experience and an eye for detail. All our suppliers are fully insured and with their support we can set a budget and then stage each part of the project until it's ready for occupation.

  • I've heard about rent to rent schemes – is this P2's role?

    No – P2 is a limited company which will provide you with a long term commercial lease guaranteeing your income and we will then let your property as serviced accommodation. If you would prefer us to simply manage the property on your behalf, we can do this and our wider team offers everything from property maintenance to cleaning services.

  • I'm borrowing money to invest in a property. Why should I use P2?

    P2's team knows about property – whether it's buying, renovation, managing or cleaning, our experience means you can trust us to be on the ball and safeguard your investment. The usual stress test applied to a buy to let mortgage is based on a long-term tenant, however working with P2 means we can usually show you a greater return on investment than traditional agreements will allow.
